Our Social Day took our Berlin colleagues to the soup kitchen of the Franciscan monastery in Berlin-Pankow – a place that offers concrete help for people in need six days a week.
With a lot of love and good humor, we baked waffles on two days and distributed them to the guests – a small but heartfelt gesture of appreciation.
We were particularly impressed by the work of the volunteers on site, who not only provide meals, but also a clothing store, washing facilities and showers. Their non-judgmental openness creates an atmosphere in which both guests and helpers feel equally welcome.
This day showed us once again how important commitment and solidarity are. We look forward to more projects in Berlin!
