Screenfact at a Glance
Screenfact is a scientifically based personality analysis tool that measures unconscious behaviors and eight personality facets in 5 minutes. The tool is based on J. Kuhl’s PSI theory and takes the interaction of affective and cognitive systems into account, which are individually “configured”. These different combinations of systems lead to diverse personality traits, each with unique strengths, preferences and tendencies.
Background information: Professor Dr. Julius Kuhl is a German psychologist whose research focuses on self-control. This research forms the basis for a personality theory that integrates advances in the following areas of psychology: motivation, development, cognition and neurology (PSI theory).
Application of Screenfact in Sports
- Team Composition: Sports teams can be put together so that they work well together and complement each other. By using personality analyses based on the PSI theory, players can be assigned according to their strongest cognitive systems, which leads to better utilization of individual strengths.
- Communication and Leadership: Coaches and captains can develop more effective communication strategies and adapt their leadership techniques by understanding their athletes’ individual personalities. The report offers practical advice on how to better understand the needs of each individual.
- Mental Training: Sports psychologists can use the psychometric process to develop customized mental training programs tailored to the individual needs and preferences of athletes. Depending on the personality, different exercises and techniques can be used to promote mental well-being.
- Conflict Resolution and Team Dynamics: Screenfact also helps resolve conflicts and improve team dynamics by explaining the different personality traits and communication styles of team members. By understanding individual preferences, athletes can learn to understand each other better and work together more effectively.
- Self-Reflection and Personal Development: Athletes gain an objective picture of themselves, identify their mental strengths and gain insight into areas that they can develop, which supports their personal growth. Self-reflection enables athletes to work specifically on areas that they are made aware of through Screenfact and that were previously unknown to them.
Overall, Screenfact enables a deep and individualized approach to mental training in sports, enabling athletes to analyze their unconscious thinking and work on it specifically to achieve peak performance.
