Gender Pay Gap
Women in Germany still earned 18% less per hour in 2023.
So our HR department keeps a close eye on these figures to avoid inequity.
Women in Management Positions
Women are still underrepresented in management positions, whether in politics, business or other areas.
In 2022, our executive board set itself goals to increase the proportion of female executives at the 1st and 2nd management levels. We are very pleased that, by the start of 2024, we have achieved our goal of filling positions equally with females at the Group’s second level.
Gender Stereotypes
The pandemic jeopardized equality. In addition to working from home, many women also took over childcare and home schooling and/or reduced their working hours.
Our flexible working hours, home office regulations, shared management positions and the opportunity for men to work part-time can ensure greater equality.
Violence Against Women
Violence against women is a serious problem that exists worldwide. It is therefore crucial that every measure is taken to protect women from physical, sexual and emotional violence.
Our everyday life, our teamwork and our celebrations should be safe for everyone. Which is why our Group has a policy of zero-tolerance for harassment.
